Amanda G Stephen

I am a Christian, wife, and a homeschooling mother that is concerned about the direction of our country.  I started getting involved in local politics the last year since relocating to Elgin, South Carolina, and have realized that all politics in this country does actually start locally!  Our precincts are the reason the nation is on decline...we've been ignoring all levels of politics and that time is ending now.  I have been involved in the community for most of my life, from my early days in high school and college in being involved with the Republican party, to being involved in Homeowner Association Boards, to currently, with our church and county functions.  Being an EC means that I would have the privilege of understanding what your concerns are and taking those concerns to the Kershaw County GOP meetings and being that voice for you.  We the People have lost our voice and I am here to start bringing it back to where it belongs.  To YOU.  I am excited with the prospect of what we will be able to accomplish with Ryan's vision for our precinct and my execution in the county level.

My experience includes:

• Presentation and communication skills - from working in corporate IT and being responsible for training many different folks in different levels of business, from warehouse associates to upper level executive management.

• Ability to prioritize well - we cannot be successful focusing on all things at the same time.  We must be able to prioritize our concern and working on getting those to completion first, before moving onto our next priorities.

• Managing goals and people - a lot of politics is about managing people and the goals of the precinct or county.  I can bring this experience to our area but knowing who to work with in order to accomplish what is necessary at the county level, not just at the precinct level.

This nation and our state were founded on the principal of We The People leading....and it is because we know the best direction for our communities.  Let's work together to get your voice back in Kershaw County, then onto South Carolina and the United States of America!  God Bless!
